three
i'm a little behind since school got out...it's been a whirlwind of a summer so far....
hard to believe june is nearing its end.... yikes.
also hard to believe that my littlest baby boy turned three on the 5th of june....
not such a little baby any more.....
some times that is hard to swallow.....
it is so cliché....
but, they truly do grow up much too fast....
on the day gus turned three we celebrated with family ...
celebrated two boys turning another year older....
gus turning 3 and owen turning 9.....
i managed to capture a few snippets of the day.....
gus was just happy to eat sprinkles for breakfast and even more sweets later in the day.....
as always, thank you so much to our family for joining in our little celebration!
dear sweet gus,
happy 3rd birthday little man!
you are fearless, stubborn, and fiercely independent....
but, you are sweet beyond measure and an excellent snuggler....
you make us laugh every day with your silly antics....
you bring so much joy to our family (and a few gray hairs on occasion but we forgive you)....
i am blessed to be your mama....
looking forward to watching you grow....

last day of 3rd grade
this past friday, it was Owen's last day of 3rd grade!
Hard to believe another school year has come to a close.....
he had a really great year....
I think we both have mixed emotions about the school year ending....
he is going to miss his friends (and his teacher he has had the last 2 years)....
but, he's excited to have more time to play with friends and do all those fun things that come with summer...
i'm excited to catch a break from lunch making, homework helping, making sure everything is in backpacks, nagging to hurry up and get dressed and eat your breakfast....you know--that usual stuff.....
next year owen will be on to a new colony...new teachers, new friends, new experiences....
we have lots of fun things planned this summer and i have a feeling it is going to be over in the blink of an eye.....
so, we are going to soak it all up while we can and embrace the days ahead!!
of course, i snapped a few photos.... (the few that he would allow. ha)

once again, feeling honored to capture this sweet family....
it is so fun to watch them grow!
hard to believe big brother was once this small....
this time, a sweet baby girl has joined them....
she looks just like her brother did as a newborn....
she loves being held....
and was very attentive to all of the action going on around her....
not sure there is anything sweeter than capturing a family that was once 2, become 3, and now 4....

a few weeks ago, i had the honor in capturing this lovely couple's wedding day.....
they are waiting every so patiently for their photos so i just wanted to share some snippets of their wedding day.....
it was a beautiful day and she was a beautiful bride....
i was in love with her champagne colored dress with ruffles galore and her handmade hair pin made with vintage pins...
we had a little adventure getting to our outdoor location as it ended up being memorial parking for prince....paisley park was very close by....
but, we rolled with it...!
it is always so fun for me to see all of the personal touches and unique personalities shine on their special day...
