i was honored to take some engagement photos for this cute couple last week...
right in their own beautiful backyard....
they also have the cutest yellow vintage tandem bike....
you can tell these two are very happy together....
constantly making each other laugh....
there is also one sweet little girl that i snapped a few of as well...
just a whole lot of cuteness all around...

this month for my link up with photog friends-- i'm using my photos i took from a recent trip to new orleans...
surprisingly, i actually did not take that many....i took a fair amount on my iphone but was too busy taking it all in to continuously snap away....
finally getting around to posting the pics....
it was a wonderful trip with great friends.....
we had a blast....
we tried pretty much every mode of transportation--carriage ride, pedi cab, streetcar, Uber ride.....
tried LOTS of delicious food, listened to some awesome jazz music....
plenty of sightseeing, people watching, and relaxing by the pool.....
New Orleans is one vibrant city...
i was so intrigued by the people --the love and pride they have for their city...
and also intrigued by the cemetery as you will soon see....
it is a city rich in culture, history, and character....
a fascinating place...
hope to go back again soon so we can continue to explore....
and eat more beignets and bread pudding soufflé with warm whiskey cream sauce.... :)

i had the honor, once again, in capturing these two cutie patooties...
it was one gorgeous fall eve at our happy place down by the river...
i think they were pretty happy there too... :)
i bought this adorable fall sweater when owen was only 2 years old....
a sweater with colors of fall and brown corduroy elbow patches...
i had really started getting into the photography thing that past spring....
so, i decided to take him for a little fall photo shoot in that little sweater....
now, it has become a tradition...
to snap a few shots of each boy as the sweater is passed down when they reach the tender age of two...
this time--it was gus's turn.... (owen even snapped a few shots)
two...still a baby---not quite a big kid....
when i look back on these photos in that little sweater....
i will remember them when they were only two....
and i will probably keep the sweater for always....
for something tangible to hold on to....
to remember them when they were so small....
