seven years old…
taking us back to our happy place
it seems i’ve been a bit absent on this space for quite some time
and a bit behind on photos
since i’ve last gotten around to photo editing etc…we have gone back to our happy place not once, but twice
a place of pristine beauty and solitude
we are happy here
a few photos of our time in the beautiful boundary waters
not from this summer but from the last…
the mountains were calling
throwing it back to the liester family road trip 2018 back in july…
we decided to return to the Grand Tetons, for a second year in a row, to savor a little more time there…
we set up camp at Colter Bay with a view of the grand beauty that is the Tetons…
it was food for the soul…
a time to move at a slower pace, let the boys run wild, behold the natural beauty that surrounds us, and soak up the fresh mountain air…
of course we packed in some adventure as well…hiking, whitewater rafting, seeing the grand canyon of yellowstone, a stop in jackson hole, and some good ol’ cowboy food and entertainment…
lots of fun memories made!
looking forward to a return trip…
as i am sure the mountains will be calling us once again…
there is just something about them that draws you back…
brothers
recently, i got to spend a little time with these boys…
we’ve gotten to know the whole family through baseball….the sport that never ends… ;)
they truly are a delight...
sweet, polite, and kind…
i truly enjoyed my time with them…
a little bit of serious and a little bit of silly (they even found their inner model at times)…
and lots of fun…
thank you for the honor, boys—i enjoyed capturing a little bit of you!
a walk in the cool, crisp air & golden sunshine
last week…
we went back to my new favorite spot for taking pictures…
this time…it was with one of my dearest friends and her family…
all of the brilliant fall colors…
the tall aspen…
golden sunshine…
thank goodness for that sunshine…
it was a bit brisk….
but, the kids were troopers…. i think they had some fun in those fall leaves… (and starbursts are a good bribery tool-ha!)
thank you, dear friend, for letting me capture a little bit of you… :)
a walk in the woods
last week, i took a walk through the woods just north of town with this sweet family…
trails of tall pine…
fall colors all aglow…
we finally had a beautiful day after multiple reschedules due to all of the dreary weather and i am so thankful for that!
i just love this family…all of their little personalities…lots of love to go around…
thank you so much for the honor, once again, ~b~ family!
you are a joy :)
